Equine Massage

A comprehensive evaluation and full body massage that focuses on releasing areas of tension. A combination of sports massage, myofascial release, and trigger point work will be used to support the individual needs of each client.

Canine Massage

A comprehensive evaluation and full body massage that focuses on releasing areas of tension. Soft tissue work will be used to support the needs of each client. Session time can be flexible based on the activity level of the canine.

BEMER Therapy

The BEMER signal works on a microvascular level to improve circulation, enhance suppleness, promote regeneration, and support parasympathetic processes. Offered to equines as an add on or stand alone session.

Our Process

Prior to your first session, please contact us to schedule a free consultation to discuss the history, needs, and goals of your animal. This will allow us to gain an understanding of your animal as a whole so we can provide you with the best education about our services and how we can help.

 

If your animal is currently under veterinary care, please acquire permission prior to your first session.​ We are willing to collaborate with your veterinarian to discuss your animal's treatment plan. 

​

We politely ask that your animal is groomed prior to their session with the massage therapist.

 

We request that the massage session takes place where the animal is most comfortable. We will begin each session with a full body evaluation and apply techniques according to the individual needs of each client.​

​

Progress notes will be emailed after each session to record your animal's response to bodywork and contribute to their treatment plan. 

​

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, we kindly ask at least 24 hours notice before your session.

​

Travel fee applied to clients 30+ miles of Pomona, NY at a rate of $1/mile.

"My horse is part thoroughbred and is very sensitive. In the past he has been resistant to various types of body work, but within minutes of working with Lena, he was relaxed. Lena truly has a calm, patient demeanor that the horses really respond to. After just a few sessions, she was able to tap into areas where he holds tension and has resisted manipulation in the past – his hamstrings, lumbar spine, and neck. He is much more comfortable to ride now, and I feel the looseness through his back and body.
